Refund Policy

At mozey, we want you to be satisfied with our service. Since we provide a digital SaaS product, our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our users and our business.
1. Free Trial Period
7-Day Free Trial for Pro Annual Plan
- New Pro Annual subscribers receive a 7-day free trial period
- The Pro Monthly plan does not include a free trial
- You can cancel anytime during the trial period with no charges
- The free trial is available once per account
- After the trial ends, you will be charged for the annual plan ($180/year)
- To avoid charges, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends
2. Subscription Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time through:
- In-App: Settings → Subscription → Change or Cancel Plan
- Apple App Store: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → mozey → Cancel Subscription
Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to the paid features until the end of your current billing cycle. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
3. Refund Eligibility
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
- If you are a new subscriber (after the free trial) and are not satisfied with mozey, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial paid purchase
- Upon refund approval, you will be immediately converted to the Starter (Free) plan (Pro access ends immediately)
- This applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions
Important: This applies ONCE per account
After Refund: Your account will be converted to the Starter plan immediately. If you wish to use Pro features again, you will need to subscribe again.
Example: If you subscribed on March 15 and request a refund on March 22, your Pro access ends immediately upon refund approval, and you will be on the Starter plan.
Technical Issues
- If you experience a technical error that prevents you from using the core features of mozey and our support team is unable to resolve it, you may be eligible for a refund
- You will retain access to Pro features during the investigation period
Duplicate Charges
In the event of a billing error or duplicate charge, we will issue a full refund for the erroneous transaction immediately.
Subscription Downgrades
- Annual to Monthly: No refund. Your Annual plan continues until the end of your paid period, then Monthly billing ($19/mo) starts automatically
- Annual to Starter: No refunds will be issued, but you will retain Pro features until your annual subscription expires
- Monthly to Starter: No refunds for the current billing cycle, but you will retain Pro features until the end of the period
4. Annual to Monthly Downgrade
Important: Annual subscriptions are non-refundable.
When you change from Annual to Monthly:
- Your Annual plan continues until the end of your paid period
- You keep all Pro features until then
- Monthly billing starts automatically after your Annual period ends
- No refund for unused time
Example:
• Subscribed: February 15, 2026 (Annual $180)
• Changed to Monthly: May 20, 2026
• Annual continues until: February 15, 2027
• Monthly billing starts: February 15, 2027 ($19/month)
Why no refunds or credits?
Alternatives:
- Switch to Starter Plan - Free tier, immediate
- Pause subscription - Up to 3 months, no billing
5. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will generally not be provided in the following cases:
- Requests made after the 14-day money-back guarantee window
- Partial months of service (no pro-rated refunds for mid-month cancellations)
- If you simply no longer need the service but forgot to cancel before the renewal date
- Accounts that have been suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service
- Annual to Monthly downgrades (no refund or credit, Annual continues until period ends)
- Second or subsequent free trial requests (one trial per account)
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at hello@mozey.co with the following information:
- Your account email address
- The date of the transaction
- The reason for your refund request
- Any relevant screenshots or documentation (for technical issues)
We will review your request within 2 business days and notify you of the decision.
7. Processing Refunds
Once approved, refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase:
Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
8. Account Credits
Note: Account credits are not provided for Annual to Monthly downgrades.
When you switch from Annual to Monthly, your Annual plan continues until expiration, then Monthly billing begins. No credits are issued.
When Credits May Apply:
- Promotional credits from referral programs
- Customer service adjustments for technical issues
- Credits cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash
